We’re thrilled to showcase our very first Passive House project in beautiful Smiths Gully! This eco-friendly, high-performing home is a rare gem in Australia and represents a major milestone for Buildrite Projects.

Passive Houses are designed to deliver exceptional comfort, energy efficiency, and sustainability. They maintain a stable indoor temperature with minimal energy use. Thanks to meticulous design and construction, we achieved an outstanding blower door test result, recording an Air Changes Per Hour (ACH) of just 0.43—well below the Passive House certification threshold of 0.60.

This home incorporates the core principles of Passive House design:

Thermal Insulation: Optimal insulation for year-round comfort.
Thermal Bridge Reduction: Precision design to prevent energy loss.
Airtightness: Minimizing leaks to maintain efficiency.
High-Performance Windows and Doors: Enhancing insulation and comfort.
